- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Disgraceful place. Uncaring and incompetent. Went to A&E with chest pains as I have angina, was not even given a bed. Waited for an hour before I saw a junior doctor who knew nothing about my condition. She wasn't even going to take a blood test which is essential. I then waited a further 3 hours before I got the result, during which time I had been sitting on a hard chair in the most unfriendly, unwelcoming reception area (similar to the staff). Then I was told by the same doctor she wasn't sure what to do so I was placed in a side room (with no bed - just a chair) for a further 2, hours before being told I needed to be admitted to the Medical Assessment Unit. It was a further 6 hours before I actually saw a cardiologist.by Julie GrantMarch 15, 2017
