  My wife went in today to get some medicine for our 7 year old daughter, under the minor illness service. The Asian lady at the desk was grumpy and tried to send my wife to Boots, saying that she didn't have any vouchers, so refused to serve my wife. My wife explained that she had just been to the local Boots and they didn't offer the minor illness service (and this is because they weren't signed off for the service). The lady then reluctantly decided to change her mind and serve my wife and printed some vouchers off which obviously could have been done in the 1st place. The lady continued to fill in the forms with a negative attitude and enquired about my daughters ethnicity, which is standard procedure for the form but, when my wife answered "she is mixed raced" the lady wanted to enquire further. We have previously been to another Lloyds Pharmacy and they didn't need to enquire further. The point I am trying to make is that a good percentage of Asian people are nosy and discriminate against African people. I know this because my wife is African, I am Asian, been married over 13 years and experienced this all the time. A Caucasian lady walked in while my wife was being served who, was greeted with a big smile and a warm welcome. She should be ashamed of herself. She certainly wouldn't have don't that if I was there. Disgusting attitude. Avoid if you don't want to be judged by the colour of your skin.

  Good points are it is accessible and has some useful items. Issues are when they cannot source an item and do not bother telling you. Or times when they are unwilling to deliver even though the service is free.
